portrait of friend

Well more like a portrait of a friend of a friend. She has lovely honey colored eyes so the background became based around that. Her heritage is syrian so she has lovely hair, a bit curlier than in this picture but it was the best I could do with my skill - the curlier the tougher for me. Her favorite flower is a lily so that is the reason for the flower.

I have no idea how to catagorize pictures, some I call digital and some just traditional for no reason even though the PC is involved either 90-100% of the time. I've had no training what-so-ever so I know I have room for improvement, but hopefully viewers can see how much of my heart I'm putting into it. You can never stop growing as an artist and this I know, I am inspired so much by digital artists on DA - you guys keep making me want to work.


I have no title for pictures of people I know irl, I don't want to just sum them up in a couple words. A title could be their name but I'm not saying that online without permission, and in this circumstance it doesn't matter to me to have a name up.
